All DNA services are not the same

You might notice in the chart below that EDNA gave itself a big-fat “X” for health and wellness reports. We don’t offer any. You should know that The United States FDA permits direct to consumer DNA testing services to report on Just 10 pathogenic genetic variants that cause disease, or are capable of causing disease (regardless of slick consumer marketing).

But Over 600,000 pathogenic variants are documented in ClinVar Database (NCBI link below). Clinvar is one of sixteen global DNA research repositories EDNA constantly checks.

We at EDNA feel it would be downright disingenuous to sell you such a highly-restricted “report”. Instead, we have empowered our partner genetic counselors with our artificially intelligent “Avalon” AI to assist them in delivering exceptional speed, value and accuracy in an actual legal, complete and actionable health report you will fully understand and benefit from.
